The IIMS Data Web Portal project is an evolving project and is currently under development. The functionality of the website and data holdings will continue to be expanded through the end of 2010. The priority datasets for inclusion during 2010 include: sediment transport, water temperature, and cross-sections. Currently the data web portal consists of four main tools:

Data Query Tool

This tool allows you to view or save data based on user defined parameters. The types of parameters that can be varied include the river system, the type of dataset, the variable, the location, and the date range. For example, the user could select the annual mean streamflow data for the Trinity River between January 1st, 1975 and December 31st, 2004 at the Junction City location.

Document Library

This tool allows you to open or save a document related to a specific river system. All documents are listed and specific details about the document can be shown by clicking on the document name. The list of documents can also be narrowed by using the search functionality.

Time Series Analyst

This tool allows you to visualize and extract all of the time series data. These data include streamflow, water quality, climate, groundwater, and other observations from many different data sources.

Interactive Map

This tool allows you to interact with an online GIS map of the Trinity River. Different spatial layers can be added or removed by selecting them from the table of contents to the left. The map includes topographic information as well as the layers describing the Trinity River restoration projects.
